First, the good news: We are riding Saturday.
Second, the bad news: Rain is in forecast, as possible off-and-on-again storms.
Now, the question is… where?
We have two routes proposed for this weekend:
1) A road route starting in downtown Lapeer that travels mostly back paved roads and does about 40 miles when finished.
2) A dirt trail route that follows the Polly Ann Trail, starting in Oxford, heading to the end and doing some back roads. Also about 40 miles.
We’ll start at 9 am.
What route do you prefer? The one that gets the most votes by noon Friday wins. We’ll post details as soon as we get your choices.
I wouldn’t mind getting my bike dirty — not that it’s been clean since I bought it. Dirt road is my vote.
I vote for the back road ride.
