Hey guys, I’m searching for a minmal road bike, similar to the attached picture and was wondering if anyone has some suggestions? Right now I have a ’96 Diamondback Approach hybrid. It was given to me as a hand-me-down and while I’ve maintained it nicely for the past 3 years, I’d like to invest in a major upgrade .

So I recently purchased a new [2012] CAAD-10 4 (Rival) in the Raw colorway, and I’m having a hard time deciding on what color bottle cages would look nice, so for all you raw CAAD owners, what cages are you using? I’ve already dug through the Cult of CAAD thread looking for raw bikes, but they are sadly lacking (the 4 is lacking in general it seems, as I didn’t see many of the Gulf colorway either)

My bike is 100% as it came from the factory as far as components (I’ll “upgrade” when things break, I bought this bike to ride).

One thing that seems to pop up on this forum with some regularity is aero bar use. When it comes to aerobars on road bikes there is definitely a good way and a bad way to use aerobars. I’m hoping this can be a quick primer on the good way to go about using aerobars.
