Out of sheer curiosity, and admiring my own weekly miles today, I wondered how many miles some of you have biked. Then I decided to jump straight to the top and stumbled across this little number For one to even come close to the current record, you would have to bike a hair over a double century every single day, for the entire calendar year.

I miss outdoors but, hey, this morning I rode Maine. yesterday, it was Tesax. Tomorrow, Tucson. But I haven’t left home. It’s all virtual riding.

Well winter is coming and in an effort to avoid indoor cycling I am looking at fenders and lights Raceblades or Mr. Crud? What kind of lights – best, cheapest but good for the money in order to see the road.Thanks

Graham McKerrell, Calgary resident who will be taking part in the Tour de Lance in Mont-Tremblant, had his cycling accessories stolen after someone broke into his car while visiting his cousin Brian Millar at the Montreal General Hospital where he is currently undergoing another round of chemotherapy. McKerrell now has to purchase his cycling gear once again so he can take part in the Saturday’s ride. – By Dario Ayala/Montreal Gazette
